“Do not worry; eat three square meals a day; say your prayers; be courteous to your creditors; keep your digestion good; exercise; go slow and easy. Maybe there are other things your special case requires to make you happy; but, my friend, these I reckon will give you a good life.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
I read this quote last night and remembered my post earlier in the day about creditors and wannabe creditors. I almost choked! LOL. I guess back in the day when companies valued better work ethics that would make sense. Today, some creditors are into shady business dealings, politics, and downright greed. It’s hard being courteous when they run to government asking for bailouts with taxpayer’s money because they failed to exercise good business principles.
Overall, these wise words are worth heeding. I follow the advice as much as I can. Good health and nutrition is important. The exercise thingy whacks me every time. 😦
What other things are you doing to keep yourself happy? Please share. Thanks!
