Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, everyone has their favorite season(s). I’m no different. I love the Fall and Spring season temperatures but I suffer from allergies which puts me in a down mood sometimes. I like rainy days and snowy days because they give me excuses to stay in. I’m not really an outdoorsy type person. With that being said, weather does effect my mood. A lot!
For example, I had planned to get out early this morning to run errands but woke up listening to splashes of water as cars drove down my street. I could mentally see my plans shifting. The motivation to go outside in the cold and rain just wasn’t there. Especially since the errand called for me to spend money – my least favorite activity.
Well, at least, it’s a gentle downpouring of rain in which I am grateful for. I try not to complain about the weather. At any given time, it could be worse. I’m just not good at handling the effects it puts me under.
Writing about the weather and its effect on me may have actually changed my attitude about getting my tasks accomplished today. That’s a good thing!!
Now, let’s see if I can “get ‘er done!”
