    • My words exactly!!! There was a time recently when my local news station texted me about every vehicle accident that happened. The thought of people hurt or killed, little children stuck in traffic with their parents, cars running out of gas, etc. 😦

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Blessings to you, as well! 🙂

  1. I prefer reading news on the internet, taht way I can choose what’s important or not and I don’t have to read about all the nonsense that they are publishing.
For a long period I only read news through different blogs. That was a relief!

    • I totally agree. I went to reading too. But lately I’m so fed up with the news that all I can stand is snippets here and there. Now when I start hitting the late night talk shows and comedy channels for news then you can stick a fork in me cause – I’m done with it!! 🙂

  2. I’ve not watched the news or read a newspaper (aside from quick glances here and there) for many years…..and you are right it doesn’t change. But not watching changed me and the stress load on me.

  3. I agree, but I want to at least be informed…although to be so is a lot of work. I listen to a lot of BBC feeds and then I podcast feeds from other places to hear “talk” from a wider region and greater information pools. I can still get over-saturated, but I guess in the end I at least find it more interesting. And then, when I’m “full” I just unplug! It’s a lot of work to remain balanced sometimes 🙂 Debra
