  1. The continued tragedy of this situation is that it will happen again unless we learn not to fear, stereotype and prejudge a situation or a people because of how they look or the color of there skin. My prayer is that we learn something from this tragic situation that will cause some sort of change. I believe it will take the coming of the Kingdom to see a permanent change.

    • I couldn’t have written or said it better, Francine. Just the mere fact that they were both, legally, in a gated community speak volumes about FEAR. One probably felt safe being there (Trayvon), the other lived there, in fear (Zimmerman) . Thanks for your feedback.

  2. I briefly heard about this over here in London and I couldn’t believe it. Such a horrible situation. I’ve always used the word hoodie and I will continue to wear mine as well. Thanks for writing about this.

    • You’re welcome, TBM. Thank You! – for taking the time to read my post and sharing your thoughts. It is an unbelievable situation, all around. We just can’t let fear and intimidation stop us from doing something as natural as covering ourselves from the elements. If we cave in to this, what other thing will they try to use? Fear is injected into our lives everyday, from the food we eat to rumors of wars. Enough is enough!!

Ok, ranting is over. Thanks for listening. 🙂
