Many people born to be leaders and have not stepped up to the plate yet. There are many leaders whose time have come and gone.
Who will take your hand and lead you through hard times? Who will walk with you and give you a song to sing on cold winter days? Who will lead you beside still waters and speak to your soul?
“Peace, Be Still“
Lead me on, precious LORD!

My wish is that this site will welcome, inform, and encourage you to connect and contribute to the ever growing online community and conversations. ~ eof737
from my NEWEST FOLLOWER – “‘Freestyle Christianity’ is an attempt to create a space where I can think theologically, critically and progressively on matters like religion, politics and culture. The primary aim is not to write lengthy arguments but rather to provide short, introductory comments. My hope is that this approach will engage you as a reader to partake in various discussions and bring your insights into the ‘conversation’”. ~ J. P. Gustafsson
Now, it’s time for the awards and gifts >
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7
I remember it was a warm sunny day and I was about to wipe my car dry after washing it when a storm cloud came up suddenly over my head. I had just enough time to put the car in the garage before the clouds opened and the rain fell.
You may think that I got upset because I had just washed the car, uh? Actually, I didn’t. Quite the opposite.
I remember saying, “Thank You, Father!” as I drove the car into the garage, being grateful that I didn’t get rained on and for making me spiritually aware of His presence in my life.
Just a few months earlier, things in my life had begun shifting. I also had a minor car accident that wasn’t entirely my fault. A friend had talked to me about going to church. All of these things made me question myself, and life in general.
As I was drying off the car my mind entertained some of those questions. Suddenly, just like the storm cloud over head, faith in something bigger and powerful than myself started sprouting. Right then, by faith, I realized that my questions and spiritual hunger would eventually be answered and met. I became spiritually and personally aware that a Higher Power was in control of everything, and that it had played a significant influence in my life as far back as I could recall.
I’ve walked by faith ever since. I’ve not yet fully bloomed to be all that God intends for me to be. Still I thank Him that I’m not where or who I used to be. God is, and always has been, faithful.
Praise be to God, my Heavenly Father.
