Got thoughts on anything happening in the news this week? What’s happening in your part of the world? Found a new
restuarant restaurant serving delicious foods? Like a new flavor of coffee or tea? Is your contestant still on Dancing with the Stars? This is your opportunity to have your say on just about anything.
It’s despicable when talk radio show hosts use false narrative when accusing other media outlets for using false narrative. Neither one does our country any good. Both make their profession seem made up of childish bullies.
I think some people in media need to reassess their job capabilities – to see if they’re doing it ethically and responsibly. It maybe that they have been in it too long to report news, or give comments objectively. I would like to see them change profession, or change the way they deliver news. Any change would be refreshing!!
Just my thoughts!
Got thoughts on anything happening in the news this week? Any positive tips on how to save more of our money? What’s happening new in your town this summer to draw in family’s? Are you keeping up with car maintenance to save money on gas – got any tips for the rest of us? Have a favorite recipe for those of us bored in eating the same foods? This is your opportunity to have your say on just about anything.
With the convenience of 24/7/365 news service on radio, television, smartphones, iPad and what have you, I get sick of hearing the same “news” recycled and rehashed over and over again because they usually make me angry.
News stories on legislating abortion using our tax dollars, gay rights, politicians unable to balance the budget, people offended by religious traditions, celebrity mishaps, rumors of wars, and political stories that try to pit one group of people against another. The list goes on, and on, and on. They’re like soap operas. You can tune in at any time and pick up where you left off.
Remember the little boy and his dad on the Hanes sock commercial when they said, “Sick of it”? Yeah, that’s me, too!! Thankfully, I’m now weaning myself off the television.
This post was inspired by a Plinky prompt, “Are there any news stories you’re sick of hearing about?”
